Weathering the Storm

Uploaded: July 26, 2012 05:23:16

Description

Anticipating severe thunderstorms this afternoon, I found this bunch of after-the-rain roses from a visit a week or so ago to Mill Creek Park. Like most of the country, we need rain and cooler weather, so hopefully the storms won't be too bad. Have a wonderful Thursday, everyone!

There's nothing better than raindrops on roses, just beautiful, Monnie!! I hope we get the rain, but miss the storms. Out at the farm Dad has 8 trees down from the storm 2 weeks ago. It will still take weeks to get through that! #1476999

Lovely dripping roses

They are saying severe Thunder storms for NOW So far NADA. But I watered the Sod the town put down so I'm sure it will rain now that I don't need it.

This a beautiful capture of the soft colors and rain drops!!

Welcome rain followed by cooler temps this weekend. Hope we can get there without too much damage.

You spend a lot of time at Mill Creek Park and with gorgeous flowers like this, I think we all would. This has Winner written all over it. I love the darker background and the the radiant beauty of the roses, their elegant colors, the special extra touch of the rain drops. A gorgeous presentation that I hope we will be seeing again and again my friend. #10245249
